COMMENTS

We bought White Orchid (our first boat) in September 2009 and she is moored on the River Medway in Kent.
Her previous owner had refurbished the interior to a very high standard so there is very little to do inside, although there is always room for improvement!
We have plans to fit solar panels and leisure batteries to give us power for weekends away so we don't drain the engine battery and electric water pumps for basin taps. The windows also need renewing as we have a few leaks but we can live with them until next year.
We have been fortunate to have enjoyed good weather for the tail end of this season and can't wait until next spring for our planned round the world tour! (well, the non-tidal Medway, anyway!)
